Waiting 24 weeks on my first unemployment payment

I filed my claim 24 weeks ago after being let go as a logistics coordinator. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
