Waiting 23 weeks on my first unemployment payment - what worked for you?

I applied for unemployment in Nashville 23 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
