Waiting 23 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 18 years as an HR coordinator

I filed my claim 23 weeks ago after being let go as an HR coordinator. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
