Waiting 23 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 4 months and counting

I applied for unemployment in Salt Lake City 23 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
