Waiting 22 weeks on my first unemployment payment (Austin)

I filed my claim 22 weeks ago after being let go as a medical assistant. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
