Waiting 21 weeks on my first unemployment payment (Wichita)

I applied for unemployment in Wichita 21 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
