Waiting 21 weeks on my first unemployment payment (update)

I applied for unemployment in Milwaukee 21 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Mine took about 21 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
