Waiting 21 weeks on my first unemployment payment, project coordinator here

I filed my claim 21 weeks ago after being let go as a project coordinator. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Mine took about 21 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
