Waiting 20 weeks on my first unemployment payment - first time posting

I filed my claim 20 weeks ago after being let go as a home health aide. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
