Waiting 20 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 12 years as an accountant

I applied for unemployment in Omaha 20 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I worked as an accountant before this. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
