Waiting 20 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 11 months and counting

I filed my claim 20 weeks ago after being let go as a machine operator. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Mine took about 20 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
