Waiting 19 weeks on my first unemployment payment - what worked for you?

I filed my claim 19 weeks ago after being let go as a mechanic. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
