Waiting 18 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 17 years as an insurance claims processor

I applied for unemployment in Tampa 18 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
