Waiting 18 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 18 weeks in

I applied for unemployment in Dallas 18 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. Any experience at all would help. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
