Waiting 17 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 11 years as an accounts payable clerk

I applied for unemployment in Denver 17 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. It has been a long 17 weeks. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?
