Waiting 17 weeks on my first unemployment payment - 3 months and counting

I filed my claim 17 weeks ago after being let go as a line cook. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
