Waiting 16 weeks on my first unemployment payment - what worked for you?

I applied for unemployment in Atlanta 16 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
