Waiting 16 weeks on my first unemployment payment (San Diego)

I filed my claim 16 weeks ago after being let go as a janitorial supervisor. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
