Waiting 16 weeks on my first unemployment payment, electrician's helper here

I filed my claim 16 weeks ago after being let go as an electrician's helper. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
