Waiting 12 weeks on my first unemployment payment - any advice?

I was laid off as a machine operator and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
