Waiting 12 weeks on my first unemployment payment after 3 years as a line cook

I applied for unemployment in Tampa 12 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
