Waiting 10 weeks on my first unemployment payment - what worked for you?

I was laid off as an insurance claims processor and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.
