Wage reporting when hours change weekly - what worked for you?

I work some days through a staffing agency while still certifying. There are 4 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Sometimes my paycheck is late by a week. Did anyone get an overpayment notice from a mistake?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
