Wage reporting when hours change weekly

I work some days through a staffing agency while still certifying. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Sometimes my paycheck is late by a week. Did anyone get an overpayment notice from a mistake?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
