Wage reporting when hours change weekly - 14 months and counting

I work some days through a staffing agency while still certifying. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. Sometimes my paycheck is late by a week. Do you report when you earned it or when you were paid?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
