Told I owe money back on my benefits - any advice?

The agency says I reported earnings incorrectly, but I think I followed the instructions. I am in Seattle, in case local advice matters. I cannot afford to repay it all at once. Has anyone disputed one of these?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
