Stuck on identity verification for my claim - what worked for you?

I was asked to verify my identity and the site keeps rejecting my photo ID. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The in-person office has long lines. What finally worked for you?

Try a different device and good lighting for the photo. My first three failed because of glare.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
