Stuck on identity verification for my claim (update)

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. The in-person office has long lines. What finally worked for you?

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.
