Stuck on identity verification for my claim - 7 months and counting

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Nobody answers the phone. Do I need an appointment?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.
