SNAP recertification with changing income - what worked for you?

I lost my job as a recruiter and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
