SNAP recertification with changing income - what worked for you?

I lost my job as a dental hygienist and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. This is my first time dealing with any of this. There are 6 people in my household. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 22 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
