My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Some local food pantries can help while the case is pending. Try calling 211 for one near you.
