SNAP recertification with changing income - what worked for you?

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. I worked as a marketing coordinator before this. There are 5 people in my household.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 7 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
