SNAP recertification with changing income - what worked for you?

I lost my job as an HR coordinator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Thank you in advance. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
