SNAP recertification with changing income

I lost my job as a paralegal and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 8 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
