SNAP recertification with changing income - any advice?

I lost my job as a delivery driver and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 9 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
