SNAP recertification with changing income - any advice?

I lost my job as a home health aide and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. There are 8 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
