SNAP recertification with changing income

I lost my job as a customer-service rep and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. It has been a long 21 weeks. There are 6 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
