SNAP recertification with changing income - 8 weeks in

I lost my job as a recruiter and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
