SNAP recertification with changing income - 5 months and counting

I lost my job as an event coordinator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Thank you in advance. There are 7 people in my household. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 9 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.
