SNAP recertification with changing income

I lost my job as a hotel front-desk agent and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Any experience at all would help. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.
