SNAP recertification with changing income

I lost my job as a call-centre agent and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. What did you submit and how long did approval take?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
