SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - what worked for you?

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 4 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Ask about expedited service. I was told it depends on how little cash and income you have right now.
