SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - what worked for you?

I got a notice asking for proof of income and I am unsure what to send. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The caseworker asked for bank statements too.

I sent my last two pay stubs, the separation letter and a bank statement. I heard back in about 3 weeks, and my county offered an interview by phone.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
