SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - what worked for you?

I lost my job as a paralegal and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I worked as a paralegal before this. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
