SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - what worked for you?

I lost my job as a machine operator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a final pay stub, a termination letter and my unemployment approval. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
