SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send?, marketing coordinator here

I lost my job as a marketing coordinator and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Any experience at all would help. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
