SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send?

I lost my job as a quality inspector and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The caseworker asked for bank statements too. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
