SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - any advice?

I lost my job as a home health aide and my household is applying for SNAP for the first time. Thank you in advance. There are 14 people in my household. Is there an expedited option for people with very little income?

Take photos of everything you send and write down the date. I had to resend one page and the record helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
