SNAP after a layoff: what documents did you send? - any advice?

Idris Nkemelu · 2026-05-17T02:38:32.424Z

My SNAP recertification is coming up and my income changed a lot since my layoff. It has been weighing on me all week. There are 18 people in my household. Did they ask for anything unexpected?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
